The undaunted passion to serve the poor & Marginalised has been the driving force behind the initiatives of the Udbhav Educational & Rural Development Society (R)(UERDS) in its journey of integrated Rural Development Programme comprising of Health, Education, Women Empowerment, Child Rights, Livelihoods and Advocacy for over 3 decades now. Beginning in small District in Karnataka way back in 1985, UERDS today has its presence in all over karnataka State. The spirit of dedication and motivation that has been propelling us is all our humble endeavours have lead us to achieve major mile stones during all the years, The challenges and changing dynamics in the current society have made us emerge stronger and orient to stay connected firmly grounded with the principles. We immensely thank over dedicated team and march a head with renewed energy to serve better to the nation. There are diversified projects implementing aiming at comprehensive Primary Health Care, Water Management, Livelihood and Sustainable Development of the people.

With a prime objective pf "Reaching Un-Rreached" to provide services to the poor in the remote areas with the help of various Government Schemes and projects, UERDS has reached nearly one lakh people in Karnataka State through various under taken projects such as:

• Citizen Help Desk
• Integrated Water Management Programme (IWMP)
• Women Help Line
• Self-Employment Project
• Antenatal Care Project (3 Nos)
• Mobile Health Units (6 Nos.)
• Capacity Building Programme (2 Nos.) for 732 Village Health Sanitation Committees
• Nodal Organisation for ‘Vikaspedia’ portal for Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India.

Further, we are pioneered and implemented a successful Public Private Partnership (PPP) model that helps leveraging the Government’s significant investment in Public Health Care, Education and Agriculture by complementing it with a socially committed, not for profit but professionally competent management team to serve underserved.
